Gillian and Ella walk hand in hand towards the Center where the parade just ended. Pushing through crowds Ella follows her aunt Jenn's directions per text messages. She sees them standing there next to a Pride t-shirt sales booth. Her aunt Jenn looking around her while holding on to Ella's mother Anna's arm. Anna wearing her usual expression when she feels uncomfortable.
When Anna's eyes meet Ella's, Anna's look changes instantly and she lets go of Jenn's grip, seemingly forgetting her surroundings.
They embrace in the middle of Pride festival in Seattle. "I'm sorry," Anna whispers, "I'm so so sorry."
"I got that all!" Eric smiles widely and waves to them holding up his phone. "I'll send the video off to uncle Grant!"
